Tools of the Trader

Made for the 2023 Game Maker's Toolkit game jam. 

Visiting a merchant is typically a brisk and uninspiring affair.  But what does this exchange look like from the merchant's point of view? Tools of the Trade takes you out of the role of a hero, and into that of a trader managing a bustling storefront. Deal with impatient paladins, haggle for the best price, manage stock, and more as you embark on a different sort of fantasy adventure. 

The tutorial of the jam version is bugged, you must hit the "kick out" button and/or press R to restart.
